We are seeking an Auditor for our client, ranked as one of the best accounting firms in the St. Louis region. The Auditor will perform audits of governmental and non-profit entities and assist in the preparation of business and individual tax returns.
This direct hire opportunity is in St. Louis, MO (South County area) and is onsite daily. Salary for the position is $60,000-$90,000 per year depending upon experience.
Day-to-day activities:
• Perform audits of governmental and nonprofit entities.
• Assist in preparation of business and individual tax returns during tax season.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in all engagements.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial information and respond to questions
Maintain organized workpapers and documentation in accordance with firm standards.

Who our client seeks:
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in: Accounting or Finance
• Experience in public accounting
• Audit experience with governmental or nonprofit entities is a plus, but some auditing experience is required.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn how to prepare business and individual tax returns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of tax or audit software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a willingness to learn.
