The Sales Support Specialist supports the Sales Director and sales team in maintaining an efficient and effective sales process. They have an in-depth understanding of company products and the systems used. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations, and policies and procedures set forth by the company in addition to all local, state, and federal employment laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the sales processes are effectively followed my managing and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Become the CRM champion and manage training and onboarding of new salespeople
• Manage user administration / account assignments in the CRM
• Manage, review and maintain all SOPs related to sales and CS processes. Train people on them and ensure everyone is following the same
• Continuously review SOPs and find ways of improvement / bringing about efficiency
• Manage and approve all quotations in the CRM and follow suggested margin guidelines
• Monitor pricing module in SAP to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Create new customer master in SAP and manage any changes to facilitate smooth order processing by the CS team
• Ensure proper filing of all customer / sales related documents and records in compliance to company standards
• Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as needed by the sales director
• Review and approve travel expenses for the sales team and ensure they are as per the travel policy of the company
• Manage customer complaints / CAPA process and coordinate internally with all concerned departments for proper investigation and corrective actions. Manage timely communication and responses to the customers
• Manage sales returns / credit notes in consultation with Quality, Operations and Sales Director
• Support the sales director to manage / resolve any open issues with operations / other internal departments
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information
• Promoting the highest quality image of the company with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community
• Maintaining and enhancing the culture and core values

Job Specifications
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience in similar job profile is required
• Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
• Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis
• Excellent motivational skills and works will with a team but also able to work alone
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques
• Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail
• Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
