Job Title: HR Generalist (Contract through April 2027)
Location: REMOTE – Des Peres, MO – (must reside in the US and be a US citizen)
Hours: Full-time, supporting core business hours (8 AM–5 PM CST)
Contract Length: Through April 2027
Compensation: $28.00 per hour
We are seeking an experienced and service-focused HR Generalist to join our client on a contract basis through April 30, 2027. This position provides frontline HR support to associates across the U.S. and Canada, including family members, applicants, and third-party vendors.
The HR Generalist delivers timely, accurate, and professional assistance on a wide range of HR matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction while ensuring consistent, high-quality HR service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to HR inquiries via the ServiceNow case management platform, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Serve as the first point of contact for associates regarding benefits, compensation, performance management, policy interpretation, hiring processes, separations, and transfers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to escalate or redirect cases as needed.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and provide empathetic support to associates navigating workplace concerns or personal challenges.
• Communicate HR policies and procedures clearly and accurately to promote understanding and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive employee information and documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum of 2 years in an HR or customer service-related role).
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• Previous experience in an HR Generalist or shared services environment highly preferred.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other case management platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Skilled in de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques.
