Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The CFO is a senior executive responsible for leading all financial strategy, operations, and oversight for the organization. This role works closely with the CEO and Board to ensure long-term financial sustainability, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with organizational goals
* Provide strategic financial insights and modeling for decision-making
* Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and compliance
* Manage investments, banking relationships, and organizational assets
* Supervise finance, IT, and administrative teams
* Monitor contracts, purchasing, tax collections (including hotel taxes), and regulatory changes
* Lead risk management, insurance, and internal audit processes
* Collaborate with government agencies and external partners
* Support capital projects, partnerships, and major financial initiatives
**Leadership Duties:**
* Build and manage a high-performing finance and IT team
* Contribute to executive leadership and organizational strategy
**Qualifications:**
* Strong senior-level financial leadership experience
* Expertise in accounting (GAAP/governmental), budgeting, and financial analysis
* Experience with internal controls, compliance, and risk management
* Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
* Bachelor’s in Accounting required; CPA/MBA/CMA preferred
* Hospitality or convention industry experience is a plus
