Title: Financial Advisor Support Specialist (Tax & Planning)
Location: 100% Remote (St. Louis, MO-based) | U.S. Citizenship Required
Type: Contract | $60–$62/hour
We are hiring a Financial Advisor Support Specialist to join a high-performing Partnership Accounting team supporting Financial Advisors across the firm. In this consultative role, you will help advisors evaluate partnership opportunities by providing guidance on compensation models, tax implications, and financial planning scenarios.
This is a fully remote contract role working 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST through 12/31/2026, with potential for extension.
What You’ll Do
• Partner directly with Financial Advisors to guide decision-making on partnership opportunities
• Analyze compensation structures, business models, and financial scenarios
• Provide education on tax implications, retirement benefits, and healthcare options
• Prepare and review individual (and potentially partnership) tax returns
• Conduct scheduled calls and consultations to answer advisor questions
• Manage multiple cases while ensuring timely, accurate follow-up

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent tax preparation certification/experience)
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, tax preparation, or advisor support
• Hands-on experience preparing individual tax returns (partnership tax experience is a strong plus)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and compensation data
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative, client-facing approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential financial information
